I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University with aspecialization in Trauma Studies. I have experience working with adolescents, children and young adults as well as providing group therapy. I am experienced in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, body image distress, relationship stressors, life transitions and self esteem difficulties.

I know how scary it can be to reach out for help and let a stranger in on what keeps you up at night. I know how devastating it can feel when your life feels like it's not working. Maybe it feels like you're nearing rock bottom, maybe you are already there. The guilt and overwhelm that comes when your attempts to make changes fall flat is incredibly discouraging. This is why I believe therapy can be so helpful. My role is to support you through challenges as well as provide you a trustworthy therapeutic relationship to work through past or present experiences or stuck points in relationships that are keeping you from feeling your best and creating the life you envision for yourself.

 

My empathetic, playful approach assists my clients in feeling heard and comfortable within the therapeutic relationship. I work with a psychodynamic lens in order to help my clients understand their history and how it is impacting their present. In addition, I utilize a person-centered approach to promote my clients' self agency while working collaboratively toward their goals. I work to maintain cultural competency in order to provide informed, sensitive care when working with diverse populations in an effort to help my clients feel understood and safe.

 

Additionally, I have experience working with teens and children on the Autism Spectrum as well as adolescents struggling with eating disorders and body image distress.
